Natural Methods to Cure Headache

 Headache is one of the most common health problems we face in our everyday life. The reason behind the headache does vary person to person. But there are some natural methods to cure headache and get rid of it.

Here are some of those ways you can follow when you are in pain – to reduce the pain:

 Stay Calm: Try to deviate your mind form your pain and stay calm. Negative thoughts and tension will not help to reduce the headache.





Drink Water: As one of the main causes of headache is dehydration,
drinking water is helpful to get rid of headache. But drinking cold or chilled water can increase the pain. Drink water of normal temperature.







 Honey: This is a Chinese remedy for headache. Honey has natural pain relieving power. You can eat honey straight or can mix it with boiled water and drink.









 Mint: Both peppermint and spearmint are great for headache problem. Tea made by peppermint and spearmint are helpful to ease throbbing head.











 Chrysanthemum tea: Made form chrysanthemum flowers- very popular in East Asia especially in India and China. Chrysanthemum tea can help in relief of tension headaches.







  

Rosemary Oil: A massage with the essential oil of rosemary is very relieving and helpful to get rid of headache.




Warm Bath: Take a warm and luxurious bath this will relax your muscles. If the headache occurs because of the sub exposure and heat, keep cotton soaked in cold water on your forehead. The temperature of the water should be normal not cold.



Lemon: Lemon juice is very effective to deal with headache. Lemon juice added with water is a good natural cure. Besides that, applying paste of lemon peel on the forehead can reduce headache.



Eat Regularly: Do not skip meals and eat healthy. Headache can occur due to the deficiency of the vitamin and lack valuable nutrients. You should not keep a long gap between two meals. Headache can happen because of the empty stomach.


Take Rest: Lie down and take some rest preferably in a dark room. Always avoid bright lights. Close your eyes and try to relax. You can put cucumber slices over the eyes. Sometimes taking a nap is very helpful to get rid of headache. Massage in the head, neck, and shoulders can give some relief too.
